Configurator Info/Directions
WELCOME TO THE WORKSHOP
Step 1 — Open the Customizer
Before you begin please ensure you have selected the correct product (One Player, Two Player, Stitched, Non Stitched etc..)
Click Customize on the product page to launch the visual product builder.
Step 2 — Upload Your Image
*Please allow Processing time for images larger than 15Mb*
*If you selected a Sitched Edge product please ensure you selected the correct color stitching you wanted*
Click Upload Image and select your file.
Image Requirements
- File size: 50 MB or less
- Resolution: 100-300 DPI
- Minimum pixel dimensions:1-Player Custom: 4480 x 3360 pixals or larger*1-Player Rubber Custom: 4480 x 3360 pixals or larger*2-Player Custom: 6000 x 4500 pixals or larger*
If your image looks blurry in the preview, it will print blurry.
*These dimensions are guidelines to ensure the best print quality. They are not required.
Step 3 — Add Text or Layers
*For images layered on top of the background for best results ensure background of image is transparent*
Add text, logos, or extra images on top of your background artwork using Add Text and Upload Image.
You can:
- Resize
- Rotate
- Change colors
- Move layers forward or backward
Step 4 — Position Your Design
- Drag and scale everything to fit inside the dotted print boundary
- Keep all important artwork, text, and logos inside the safe area
- Do not place critical elements near the edges
Anything outside the print area may be trimmed during production.
Step 5 — Place Order
Click Save / Add to Cart inside the customizer, then complete checkout.
You will receive a confirmation email when your order is placed.
If you do not click Save, your design will NOT be attached to your order.
Tips
- Background image must be uploaded first
- Ensure you havevselected the product you want to customize
- Double-check DPI and pixel dimensions to ensure print quality
- Confirm image file is under 50 MB
- Zoom in a little bit to check for blur or pixelation before saving
- PNG files are best for logos

Return Policy
Return Policy
Because most MetaMats products are made to order, our return policy is designed to be fair, clear, and transparent.
Custom & Made-to-Order Items
All custom products (including MythPrint customs, BattleMats, and any made-to-order items) are final sale and not eligible for returns or refunds once production has begun.
This includes:
Custom artwork uploads
Custom zones or layouts
Personalized or made-to-order items
If there is an issue with your order due to a manufacturing defect or printing error, please contact us within 7 days of delivery, and we’ll make it right.
Non-Custom / Stock Items
Non-custom, in-stock items may be eligible for return within 14 days of delivery, provided they are:
Unused
In original condition
Returned in original packaging
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item arrived damaged or defective.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect:

Include your order number and photos of the issue
Contact us within 7 days of delivery
We’ll review the issue and arrange a replacement or solution as quickly as possible.

Processing & Production Times
Most MetaMats products are made to order, meaning production begins after your order is confirmed (and approved, if applicable).
Typical timelines:
- Standard custom playmats: 2–10 business days after proof approval
- BattleMats:
Up to 14 days design lead time - Printed in bi-monthly production runs
- In-stock items: Ship within 1–3 business days
Shipping Times
Shipping times vary based on destination and selected shipping method at checkout. Estimated transit times are provided during checkout but are not guaranteed.
Once your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking number via email.
International Shipping
We do ship internationally. International customers are responsible for:
- Customs duties
- Import taxes
- Any additional fees charged by the destination country
MetaMats is not responsible for delays caused by customs processing.

Do you offer custom playmats?
Yes. We specialize in custom playmats. You can either:
- Use our Playmat Customizer (where available), or
- Work directly with our team by emailing sales@metamats.com after purchase
Will I receive a proof before printing?
Yes. For all custom orders, a digital proof is provided before printing. Production begins only after approval.
How long does it take to receive my order?
Production timelines vary by product:
- Most custom playmats: 4–10 business days
- BattleMats: Longer timelines due to size and bi-monthly print runs
Shipping time is added after production is complete.
Can you help with artwork or layout?
Absolutely. Our team can assist with:
- Layout adjustments
- Zone placement
- File preparation for best print quality

What file quality do you recommend?
High-resolution images are strongly recommended for best results. 100-300dpi recommended
Can I cancel or change my order?
Custom orders cannot be canceled once production has started. If you need to make a change, contact us as soon as possible after ordering, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
